Wirral: 5,300 domestic abuse incidents a year reported to police

MERSEYSIDE HAS THE SECOND HIGHEST RATE OF POLICE REPORTED DOMESTIC ABUSE INCIDENTS IN ENGLAND.

The Council’s Director of Public Health has just produced her annual report, explaining how the Council is working to achieve its policy of zero tolerance of domestic abuse, raising awareness and ensuring effective support is available to victims. MORE
