Why not pop a few extra items in your big shop this weekend and donate them to Wirral Foodbank. Here’s where you can donate, plus a shopping list of the items they need right now. Because Foodbanks aren’t just ‘uplifting’, unfortunately they are a necessity.

Wirral Foodbank is a local charity providing emergency food to local people in crisis.  Since it started in November 2011 it has fed and supported 47,234 including 16,887 children.

Wirral Labour Group will be hosting a hustings for the three Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor prospective Labour candidates on Friday 15th July, 7.00pm at The Lauries Centre, Claughton Road, Birkenhead, CH41 6EY. This is open to all Labour Party members across Wirral.

This is your opportunity to hear directly from Joe Anderson, Luciana Berger and Steve Rotheram before you cast your vote about why they would like the Labour nomination for the Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor.
