Tomorrow’s branch mtg: change of venue

All members of the Wallasey branch should have received notice by now that the next branch meeting is tomorrow night Tuesday 9th Jan, starting at 7.30pm.

HOWEVER THE VENUE HAS BEEN CHANGED. A correction was sent out by email on the 6 Jan but in case you didn’t receive it, the meeting tomorrow is at SHERIDANS.

In case you don’t know Sheridans, the precise location is 80 Wallasey Village CH45 3LQ. In other words, opposite the Co-Op. If you don’t know where the Co-Op is, it’s opposite Sheridans 🙂

The meeting is open to every member who lives in the area covered by the Wallasey BRANCH. If you aren’t sure if you do, you can check HERE

You can bring young people they are most welcome but we are not specifically organising entertainment for them,so you might want to consider bringing something that would keep very young people entertained during the evening so that you can also enjoy the night.

Helpers / Volunteers for the night welcome. To staff the bar and sell raffle tickets and to set up and pack away

Donations of Prizes for the raffle also appreciated.

Branch supports Jeremy Corbyn

Last night at our branch meeting Wallasey BRANCH Labour Party passed, with an overwhelming majority, a motion of support for Jeremy Corbyn as Leader of the Labour Party .

As such we wish to send our message of support to our Leader Jeremy Corbyn at this time as we work together on the larger issues effecting our society.

Unfortunately Bill McGenity wasn’t elected yesterday so we still haven’t got an effective voice for Wallasey on the council. But loads of respect and thanks to Bill and everyone else involved in the campaign for all their hard work, their commitment and determination. And the work to elect a Labour councillor for Wallasey goes on 🙂
